Lots of people wish they could travel, but simply can’t figure out how to do it cheaply. We in North America are incredibly lucky to enjoy inexpensive food, nice hotels, and cheap gas compared to countries through the rest of the world. That has given many North Americans the feeling that somehow they are paying more than they should when they travel, or even that they simply can’t afford to travel other than to stay in North America, or go to certain Caribbean countries that cater with resorts to provide you with a “home away from home”.
I am here to let you know that there are still “value” destinations where you can enjoy the food, culture, and history of another country. You will still likely pay more than you would at home, but at the same time create incredible memories at a reasonable budget level.
The next few posts are going to explore places to go which still have good value, but are not a “home away from home”. At the same time, for those who really do not want to travel on their own, I will give an example of a reasonable priced small group tour. In fact, I will do your research for you, so stay tuned!
