About Me- Ruth Adams- Traveller Extraordinaire

A little bit about me- I retired from the corporate world as a customer operations manager with a passion for travel, learning, and new experiences. After taking a couple of years off to relax, I started in the travel business by promoting small group adventure travel with the Adventure Centre (companies like Exodus and Intrepid Travel) with my blog, with Facebook and by word of mouth.

After a couple of years, I decided to expand my offerings, and began to work as a Home Based Travel Consultant with Goliger’s Travel Plus, where I had an opportunity to impart that same passion for travel to various clients. Now I am an Independent Travel Advisor with Direct Travel. This blog acts as an information resource for travellers for all kinds of travel.

Where have I been?  Every continent but the Arctic….. My favourite places- South Africa for the wildlife, the Antarctica for the scenery, Ireland for the people, and France for the food and wine……so far…….

My goal:  to ensure that your booking experience- whether a cruise, an adventure trip, an all-inclusive resort, or whatever it may be- is hassle-free and stress-less.
